We will DEFINITELY be coming back here! This is now our go-to for delicious Indian food. We tend to prefer lovely thick and ample-sauced curries, and in particular Palak Paneer, Navrattan Korma and Malai Kofta. We tried the Palak Paneer and the Malai Kofta, and oh YES! SOOO GOOD! The texture and size of the paneer was perfect, the palak’s spinach was fresh and scrumptious. The Kofta dumplings were fantastic, generous in size and SO yummy and sweet in flavour. The curry sauce was perfectly sweet, with sultana and almonds. Sooooo moreish! We always get a Naan bread, and I must say, this Naan is the best I have EVER had. It was so light, fluffy and deliciously brushed with Ghee. The plain rice was also light and fluffy. We did not try and of the entrees this time, as we wanted to have two mains and the sides, and not end up too full! The serving sizes are perfect and also the ambience is really lovely, warm and welcoming. We ate outside (we were given the choice), the social distancing was good and we felt very comfortable. The lights around the nearby trees on the Chevron dining strip were also really nice to eat amongst. The service also could not be faulted, in terms of the welcoming friendliness, the prompt serving of drinks and food, and we even got a plate of complementary pappadams! Yummo! We can’t wait to come back and sample more of the menu! Thank you so much for a lovely meal and dining experience!

We have been disappointed with the runny curries at other Indian restaurants on Chevron and in Surfers. I have not had good Indian food like this since living in Hong Kong and travelling to India for work. Please keep up the high standards The Indian Place and do not lower your standards to match other Indian Restaurants on Chevron and in Surfers.
